With its differentiated university landscape, Lower Saxony offers students a host of promising study opportunities. The various universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of the arts and vocational academies have varying profiles, study goals, faculties and study courses. Apart from the classical Diploma and Master study courses, the institutions also offer students new and innovative forms of study: among them are the international study courses (for example leading to Bachelor or Master degrees or with a high proportion of foreign-language study), intensive courses which allow a shortening of the study period, and dual courses which offer a linking of theoretical and practical education.
